Howdy all! I’m Ian, but you probably would know me better as Aye Spydie on just about every platform, and I’ve got some big news for Graung’s Guide to Golarion fans! As the series has progressed, the content in each new book has expanded pretty significantly. The most recent book, Ancestries of the Impossible Lands, was the biggest undertaking yet. Work is already underway on the next title, Ancestries of the Darklands, but this project is already proving to be another big one. In fact, it’s looking like it will be so big that I don’t think I can rely on just using my own groups and players as guinea pigs anymore. Moving forward, these books are going to need more eyes on them before they’re done cooking. That’s where you come in.

If you’re part of the Team+ Patreon then you’re already familiar with how this works. I’ve reorganized the Graung’s Guide Patreon tiers into Copper, Silver, Electrum, Gold, and Mithral tiers. If you’re a patron of any tier, your name will be listed in future books that release while you’re a subscriber, and you’ll get a special role in the Graung’s Guide Discord. The Copper and Silver tiers are for general support, for anyone who likes what I’m doing and wants to see it continue. Even if it’s only a dollar a month, that’s money that goes to sourcing art and supporting the books so that they can constantly improve. Starting at Electrum, you get exclusive Patron only content. Admittedly, this won’t be as frequent, but you can expect to see things like items, spells, and other ideas that don’t quite fit into a book but are still worth a look. But the real magic is in the Gold and Mithral tiers. Starting at Gold, you’ll get access to a the playtest channel in the Discord. Plustesters will already be familiar with how it works from there. You’ll have access to the playtest doc for the currently underway books, and a place to discuss it all and leave your feedback, plus organized playtest sessions to test it all out.

There will be more to come, but for the time being, I hope to see you there soon!
