Some few wizards and animal breeders throughout history have experimented with hybridizing different species. Once, a cat-fancying wizard with a love for wordplay made the ill-advised decision to join those infamous ranks by creating the drackat—a hybrid of housecats and house drakes—reasoning that their shared self-importance makes them preternaturally aligned.
Low-content drackats—those who are mostly housecat—are prized, if challenging, pets. However, high-content generations inherit both the good looks and resolute independence of their draconic progenitor. They refuse to be pets, and are intelligent enough to make their feelings about the insult of that role known. Small populations of feral drackats are present in areas initially populated by escapees, bolstered further through breeding with local housecats and house drakes.

Flutter A drackat's wings are too small for flight, but help it stay aloft longer. Drackats treat falls as 10 feet shorter. It may Leap and Long Jump an additional 5 feet, though it still can't jump farther than its Speed. It does not automatically fail attempts to High Jump or Long Jump if it doesn't Stride at least 10 feet first.

You're Stuck Now Trigger The drackat is within 10 feet of a prone creature; Effect The drackat moves to its target and curls up on them. The creature must immediately attempt a DC 17 Will save, repeating it at the beginning of each of their turns while the drackat sits on them. On a failure, they gain the immobilized condition until the drackat is no longer on them, and cannot force the drackat to move or make a hostile action against it themselves. On a success, they are immune to this effect for 24 hours.

Demand (concentrate, mental) Requirement The drackat is adjacent to or sharing space with the target creature; Effect The drackat makes one of the following demands, adding either the auditory or visual trait. The target must attempt a DC 17 Will save. On a failure, they must spend their next action ceding to the drackat's demand, or next two actions if retrieving an item or moving is a prerequisite. On a success, the target is immune for 1 hour.
