Your innovation is a Dragonbreath Launcher, a mechanical held item that can imitate a dragon's breath weapon. Select line or cone, as well as a pair of damage type and save that is in the Draconic Benefactors table. Also select if your Dragonbreath Launcher is wielded in 1 or 2 hands. You can retrain these options normally or by using the Reconfigure class feature.
You gain the following action:
Requirements You are wielding your innovation
You spew the imitation of a dragon's breath at a target within 60 feet, dealing 2d4 damage, or 2d6 damage if your innovation is wielded in 2 hands, plus the additional damage from Overdrive if active, with a basic save and damage type that you selected. At 3rd level and every 2 levels thereafter, the damage increases by 1d4, or by 1d6 if it's wielded in 2 hands or this action is Unstable.
Unstable Function You overload your Dragonbreath Launcher, expelling its charge in the shape of a dragon's breath. Every creature in either a 30-foot line or a 15-foot cone, whichever you chose, takes the damage of a Spew Dragonbreath with a basic save and damage type that you selected.
Offensive Boost Your boost applies to Spew Dragonbreath.
Choose one initial dragonbreath launcher modification to apply to your innovation, either from the following or from other initial dragonbreath launcher modifications to which you have access.
Clinging Breath (acid, cold, electricity, fire and poison damage only) Your dragonbreath lingers on its victims. When a creature critically fails a saving throw against Spew Dragonbreath, they take persistent damage of your dragonbreath's damage type equal to half the amount of damage dice of normal damage.
Corrosive Breath (poison damage only) Your dragonbreath corrodes the bodies of creatures immune to its toxins. When you Spew Dragonbreath at a creature immune to its damage type, you instead deal acid damage.
Distant Aim You modified your innovation to be aimed over large distances. You can Spew Dragonbreath at a target within 120 feet.
Pacifying Breath (bludgeoning, mental and spirit damage only) Your dragonbreath can be used in a way that prevents the loss of innocent life. You can choose to deal non-lethal damage with your innovation.
Psionic Breath (mental, spirit, void and vitality damage only) Your dragonbreath tears at the bodies of unthinking creatures instead of minds. When you Spew Dragonbreath at a creature immune to its damage type, you instead deal force damage.
Rending Breath (piercing and slashing damage only) Your dragonbreath shreds the flesh of its victims. When a creature critically fails a saving throw against Spew Dragonbreath, they take persistent bleed damage equal to half the amount of damage dice of normal damage.
Alloyed Breath (physical damage only) You modified your launcher to generate projectiles forged from a peculiar alloy. Your innovation's damage counts as cold iron and silver.
Blinding Breath (elemental damage only) Your dragonbreath overwhelms your victims' senses with searing light and blazing afterimages. When a creature critically fails a saving throw against Spew Dragonbreath, it becomes dazzled until the end of your next turn.
Crippling Breath (bludgeoning, cold and poison damage only) Your dragonbreath weakens the body. When a creature critically fails a saving throw against Spew Dragonbreath, it becomes enfeebled 1 until the end of your next turn.
Disorienting Breath (acid, electricity, piercing and slashing damage only) Your dragonbreath disrupts coordination and movement. When a creature critically fails a saving throw against Spew Dragonbreath, it becomes clumsy 1 until the end of your next turn.
Exposing Breath Your dragonbreath leaves your foes open to follow-up attacks. When a creature critically fails a saving throw against Spew Dragonbreath, it becomes off-guard until the start of your next turn.
Lingering Breath Your dragonbreath leaves behind hazardous residue. Until the start of your next turn, the area of your Unstable Function is difficult terrain.

When a creature fails a saving throw against Spew Dragonbreath, it becomes dazzled until the end of your next turn. If you have Blinding Breath, a creature that critically fails instead becomes blinded until the end of your next turn.
