Dragon Pupil (Monk Archetype)

Dragon Pupil (Class Archetype)

Many practitioners of martial arts have the might and prowess of dragons as inspiration for their forms and techniques, but you take that dedication a step further, focusing on learning from a single draconic exemplar and even aligning your qi to their magic tradition.

Additional Feats: 8th Stomp Ground (earth dragons only) (Battlecry! 44)
Special: The Dragon Pupil adds the sorcerer spell dragon breath (Player Core 2 263) to the qi spells they have access to, the spell gains the qi trait. As a 3rd-rank spell it can be acquired through the 6th-level feat Advanced Qi Spells.

Dragon Pupil

You learned your fighting styles from observing the form and behavior of a specific dragon type you might have had an actual dragon as your master, or learned from a school that holds this tradition. When you select this class archetype, choose a draconic benefactor, whenever a feature or feat of this archetype mentions your benefactor’s breath damage or spell tradition, it refers to the info as it is listed in the Draconic Codex 207. You must select Dragon Pupil Dedication as your 2nd-level class feat.
Prerequisites: You must be a monk
Dragon Pupil Adjustments: You are trained in your draconic benefactor’s bloodline skill and a number of additional skills equal to 3 plus your Intelligence modifier instead of your normal starting skill proficiencies.
