Cerberus dragons

Origins of Cerberus Dragons

A now discredited theory held that Pharasma created the cerberus dragon to stand guard of her spire and the Boneyard, but the current leading theory is that they originated from the union of a cinder, rime and horned dragon in the boneyard, according to the testimonies of several psychopomps. Needless to say, this theory is still hotly debated among the dracologist community.

Cerberus Dragons

Renowned for their triple elemental breaths, the three headed cerberus dragons have been highly sought out by monarchs, mighty heroes and even deities.
However, what most fail to account is the almost legendary bickering among the heads due to their inability to agree on all manner of things, which usually means that any attempt to recruit them fail, and possibly result in the heads venting their frustrations of the unfortunate soul who made the request.
But if one were to somehow get the three heads to unanimously agree to act as guardians, possibly with the help of several barley cakes soaked with honey and wine, they'll find cerberus dragons to be terrifying allies whose connection to the Boneyard lets them unleash death upon their enemies in spite of their almost comical clumsiness.

Cerberus Dragon benefactor

Unlike other dragons who only have one set of possible benefits to grant a plaer character, the unique situation of cerberus dragons means that special rules apply if a player wishes to have one as their draconic benefactor: when they are chosen as the source of a character's power, a specific head must be chosen as the source of the power.

Dragon Tradition Speeds Dragon Breath Saving Throw
