As a student of draconic alchemy, you've (literally) internalized your learnings.
You've replaced a significant amount of your internal anatomy with a mix of alchemical and draconic components, making you a living alchemical cauldron. You keep a collection of common ingredients stored safely within your body, and swallow additional reagents to supplement those when needed. You must select Dragon Cauldron Dedication as your 2nd-level class feat.
Prerequisites: You must be an alchemist.
Dragon Cauldron Adjustments: You are untrained in medium armor. Your key attribute modifier becomes Constitution, but you still use your Intelligence modifier to determine your number of versatile vials and the number of items you can create with advanced alchemy each day. Alchemist class feats use your Constitution modifier in place of your Intelligence modifier to determine their effects.
You are always treated as having an alchemist's toolkit or laboratory available. Quick Alchemy gains the concentrate trait, loses the manipulate trait, and no longer requires a free hand to use. Where another alchemist would draw a versatile vial, you simply disgorge one (at the same action cost, if any); you draw completed alchemical items from your mouth or throat after using Quick Alchemy or Advanced Alchemy, or otherwise Crafting them.
Choose a draconic benefactor from the table in Draconic Codex. You gain the Explosive Breath and Gargle Gunpowder actions.
Requirements You have a versatile vial remaining, or an alchemical bomb stowed.
You either use Quick Alchemy to create a bomb or draw and swallow the required bomb, then breathe its energy in an explosive blast. You deal damage in an area; the damage type, area, and basic save are determined by your draconic benefactor as per the table in Draconic Codex. The damage is equal to that bomb's damage, and the save DC is a normal DC for the bomb's level.
You churn up draconic energy within your throat, turning your alchemic chamber into a roiling furnace. If your next action is to use Explosive Breath, its damage increases to 2d6 and its save DC increases to your class DC; this damage increases by 1d6 at 3rd level and every odd level thereafter. Afterward, you can't use Explosive Breath again for 1d4 rounds.
Prerequisites Dragon Cauldron
Your cauldron, and by extension your entire gastrointestinal tract, is a clean and sterile laboratory. You're never affected by inedible, poisonous, or otherwise dangerous substances you knowingly ingest orally unless you want to be, and can safely disgorge them later. (This doesn't prevent drawbacks from mutagens, drugs, etc.; you either gain the full effects or none.)
You can safely store a total Bulk of substances within your stomach equal to your level, and no single item's Bulk can exceed half your level (at level 1, the maximum is Light). Attempting to store items beyond this limit simply fails, and may cause you to choke if the item exceeds the individual Bulk limitation.
Prerequisites Dragon Cauldron
Your cauldron generates excess fluid, which you can weaponize. You gain a spit unarmed attack, which is in the brawling group, deals 1d6 damage of the same type as your draconic benefactor, and has the propulsive, ranged 30 ft., and unarmed traits. When you use Quick Alchemy to create an item with an energy type trait or that deals damage, your spit attack gains the versatile trait for the corresponding damage type until the end of your next turn. If that item deals the same type of damage as your spit (or has the corresponding trait), instead your spit attack's damage die is increased to 1d8 until the end of your next turn.
Prerequisites Dragon Cauldron Dedication
Trigger An attacker you can observe targets you with an attack.
Even beneficial substances created in your cauldron inmpart the destructive energies of your draconic anatomy. When you use Quick Alchemy to create an elixir, a creature that consumes that elixir deals an additional 1d6 damage of your draconic benefactor's damage type with successful Strikes for 1 minute. This additional damage increases by 1d6 at 9th and 17th levels.
Prerequisites Dragon Cauldron Dedication
Your unique digestive system responds explosively to alchemical treats. While under the effects of any alchemical food, your Strikes deal an additional 1 persistent damage per weapon die of the same type as your Explosive Breath, or 1d4 per weapon die on a critical hit.
Prerequisites Dragon Cauldron Dedication
Your cauldron imparts explosive energies to plants you create within, turning them into arboreal bombs. When you use Quick Alchemy to create an alchemical plant, you may spend an additional versatile vial or swallow an alchemical bomb as part of the action. If you do, the plant explodes at the end of its duration, dealing the bomb's damage within its normal splash radius with a basic Reflex save against a standard DC of the bomb's level. You can replace the bomb's damage type with that of your Explosive Breath when you create the plant. (If using a standard versatile vial, use its normal bomb statistics, even if your versatile vials can't normally be used as bombs.)
You can spend an Interact action before the plant's duration ends to detonate the bomb early; if you do, targets must save against your class DC instead, you and the plant are unaffected by the explosion, and the plant no longer explodes when its duration ends.
Prerequisites Dragon Cauldron Dedication
Trigger An attacker you can observe targets you with an attack.
Your cauldron imparts its explosive nature more efficiently to volatile substances. Bombs and ammunition you create with Quick Alchemy deal 1 additional splash damage per weapon die, of the same damage type as your Explosive Breath.
When you use Explosive Breath while under the effects of Gargle Gunpowder, you can increase the splash radius of ammunition and bombs you create with Quick Alchemy by 5 feet until your Explosive Breath recharges.
Prerequisites Dragon Cauldron Dedication
When you use a non-consumable alchemical item (such as an alchemist's flamethrower) to deal damage, you deal an additional 1d6 damage of your draconic benefactor's damage type. This additional damage increases by 1d6 at 9th and 17th levels.
Prerequisites Dragon Cauldron Dedication
Your cauldron reacts efficiently to mutagens, growing additional draconic parts with their transforming energies. When you drink a mutagen, you gain an unarmed attack of your choice for its duration. If you're already under the effects of a mutagen, you must choose a different unarmed attack. Choose one of the following unarmed attacks:
Jaws 1d8 P; agile, forceful, unarmed
Claw 1d6 S; agile, backstabber, finesse, unarmed
Tail 1d10 B; backswing, sweep, unarmed
If under the effects of a bestial mutagen, rather than choosing one of these attacks, the attacks granted by that mutagen instead deal 1d4 additional damage per weapon die, of the same damage type as your Explosive Breath.
Prerequisites Dragon Cauldron Dedication
Trigger An attacker you can observe targets you with an attack.
The chemical cocktail churning in your cauldron is both coagulant and corrosive. When you activate Explosive Breath while under the effects of Gargle Gunpowder, each square within the area becomes hazardous terrain until your Explosive Breath is recharged, dealing damage of the same type equal to the bomb's damage dice to each creature that enters or ends its turn inside.
Prerequisites Draconic Venom or Explosive Fallout
You've tweaked your cauldron into doubling as a diffuser, allowing you to dispense harmful gases with your breath. As part of activating Gargle Gunpowder, you can draw and consume an inhaled poison. If you do, a thin cloud of gas covers the area of your Explosive Breath, exposing creatures who enter or end their turns within it to the consumed poison.
Prerequisites Morphic Mutagens
Make 3 melee unarmed Strikes, each at a –4 penalty. All attacks count toward your multiple attack penalty, but the penalty doesn’t increase until after you’ve made all of them.
If you successfully hit a single creature with 2 different unarmed attacks this way, that creature takes persistent damage equal to the higher weapon damage between those unarmed attacks, of the same damage type as your Explosive Breath.
A person grinning with a dragon's lower jaw, with glowing energy lines/tattoos going down their throat into their clothing. A liquid of the same color as the glowing lines drips from between their back teeth.
